Empire Exchange is looking for a Staff/Retail Manager to join our team. 

 

Empire Exchange is buy/sell/trade clothing store, with two locations in Montreal (and a sister store - Annex Vintage) in Mile End and Little Italy. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with staff management or human resources required

  • 2+ years of retail experience or equivalent 

  • Bilingual (spoken and written) 

  • Experience with staff scheduling (weekly, monthly) 

  • Positive and clear communicator

  • Highly organized in task management and record keeping

  • Proactive and able to work independently 

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Comfortable with a busy work environment

  • Experience with Lightspeed (or other POS/inventory systems), Google Workoffice, Ceridian (or other payroll systems)

  • Driver's license an asset

 

Role:

 

The Empire Exchange Staff/Retail Manager will oversee staff at all store locations and ensure smooth retail operations. Tasks include but are not limited to: creating store schedules, hiring and onboarding staff, daily liasing with staff, producing and maintaining staff resources and communications, overseeing staff management and floor management operations.

 

3 days per week minimum (Tues-Thurs ideally)

 

Salary: $18.50/hour or wage related to experience
